Historic centre is 4 km far. Both Roma Termini and Coliseum are 4 km far
from the apartment. The historic centre is quite large, so you often have
to take a bus or the underground to reach the monument you are interested
in. All historic centre buses and the two roman underground lines start
from Rome Termini Station. Also renting an apartment in the historic centre
you have to take buses and underground to reach the various monuments (i.e.
Vatican and Coliseum are 3 km far each other)
How far is it to the metro, urban train
and bus stop? And how often do they run?
The bus stop is 400 meters far. The first bus leaves at 05.00 and the last
one at 00.00. There are 245 bus every day. They leaves every 5 munutes.
The urban train stop is 400 meters far from the apartment and it's near
the bus stop. The first urban train leaves at 05.30 and the last one leaves
at 21.30. There is a train every 10 minutes.
The metro stop "Arco di Travertino" is 1000 meters far from the
apartment. The first metro leaves at 05.00 and the last one leaves at 21.00.
There is an underground every 5 minutes.
Can I buy a public transportation daily
ticket and a weekly ticket? How much do they cost?
There are 4 kind of ticket available at newspaper seller and automatic machine
seller::
BIT: Price 1€; Validity: 75 minutes from the first
validation.
BIG (daily): Price 4€; Validity: Up to 12.00 midnight
of the day on which the ticket is validated; good for unlimited rides within
the territory of the Roma municipality.
BTI (3 days): Price 11€; Validity: Up to 12.00 midnight
of the third day inclusive of that on which it was first stamped and for
an unlimited number of journeys within the Rome municipality.
CIS (7 days): Price 16€; Validity: Up to 12.00 midnight
of the seventh day inclusive from the date indicated by the customer as
its first day of validity for an unlimited number of journeys within the
Rome municipality.
Where can I park my car?
There isn't a reserved parking. You can park your car beside the iron gate
of the apartment. The iron gate access is reserved to our Guests.
Are there linen and towels included?
Yes, linen and towels are included. For long stay we change linen and towels
weekly.
Is there a washing machine? Where can I
wash my laundry?
There isn't a washing machine in the apartment. Perhaps a few minutes walk
from the apartment there is a laundrette.
Is there ironing equipment?
Yes, in the apartment there is ironing equipment..
Is there air conditioning?
No, there isn't.
Is there a telephone?
No, there isn't a telephone in the apartment, but a few minutes walk there
are a lot of phone centre/internet point.
Is there a coffee maker?
Yes, there is a Stovetop Esprsso Italian Coffee Maker.
With
all the expensive espresso makers sold around the world, native Italians
prefer espresso from stovetop espresso makers and more Italians use Bialetti
for their stovetop Italian coffee. For an excellent cup of Italian coffee,
the classic eight-side household coffee-pot is considered a true italian
tradition. The Moka Espress boasts a lot of records and, as such, is the
most copied coffee-maker! The unit is extremely simple to use. Just fill
the lower chamber with water and the filter with ground espresso coffee.
Place the pot on the stove and heat until the water boils. As it does, the
liquid espresso moves to the upper chamber of the pot, ready to be poured
into an awaiting espresso cup. After that, all you need to do is enjoy the
delicious nectar of coffee.
