The apartment is inside Rome, ten minutes far from historic center; it is exactly 4 kilometers far from Rome Termini Station, the heart of Rome public transportation system; you can reach Rome Termini Station by bus or train in 10 minutes.
Rome Termini station is inside the historic center of the
city, and you can walk from Rome Termini Station to the monument you are interested
in. The historic center is big, so you often have to take another bus or the
underground to reach the monument you are interested in. All historic center
buses and the two roman underground lines start from Rome Termini Station.
From Rome Termini Station you can also take train for the whole Italiy (Florence
and Naples are 1h 30 min far).
From the apartment you can reach the Helena's Mausoleum
Park in a ten minutes walk and the remains of Aqua
Alexandrina in a five minutes walk.

To reach historic center, you can walk from the apartment to Filarete bus/train stop (about 400 meters; see map). When you are in the bus/train stop you can take the train or the bus to Roma Termini.
You can take the bus 105 direction Rome Termini; there is a bus every 5 minutes;
the bus 105 takes about 10 minutes to reach Rome Termini Station. The first
bus starts at 5 a.m.; The last bus starts at 24.00. The ticket costs 1 euro;
when you reach Rome Termini Station, with the same ticket you can also take
another bus or the underground.
You can take the train "Laziali- Pantano/Grotte Celoni" direction
Laziali to reach Rome Termini Station. there is a train every 10 minutes.
The last urban train starts at 21.30. The ticket costs 1 euro; when you reach
Rome Termini Station, with the same ticket you can also take another bus or
the underground.
